Carolyn Do Physio at the Beverley practice, recently attended a shoulder course, it was run by Jenny McConnell. Jenny is a leading researcher and Physiotherapist specialising in treating musculoskeletal problems.
Core Physiotherapy & Pilates Studio encouraged Carolyn to go to the course, she enjoyed it and was able to connect with other Physios in her local area.

Carolyn Increased Her Knowledge Of Treating Shoulder Problems
The two-day course covered current literature on diagnosing and treating shoulder problems. As well as further reinforcing and improving her knowledge of treating shoulders, which Carolyn will incorporate into her current practice.
If you have the following symptoms:
- Front or side shoulder pain
- Stiffness in the shoulder
- Weakness in the shoulder
- Upper arm pain
Or if you struggle with the activities of daily living such as: putting on or taking a coat off, brushing your hair, carrying items or putting items or groceries away.
We recommend that you make an appointment with a Physio to properly diagnose your problem. Treatment of the shoulder may also include taping, mobilisation of the shoulder and upper to middle back, dry needling & manual therapy. Shockwave or strengthening exercises to help improve the function of the shoulder.
