Members First Physiotherapy Network Fees

When a client attends a practice that has a BUPA Members First agreement, BUPA will pay the maximum rebate back on your appointment, leaving you with a reduced out of pocket expense. Your gap will vary based on your level cover, however as a guideline, the best and worse case scenarios are shown below:

BUPA members are still welcome to attend these sites and can still claim on their BUPA insurance. Regardless of your health fund, the same great service quality, one on one care and availability of appointments applies. Health Partners Preferred Provider Fees

When a client attends a practice that has a Health Partners preferred provider agreement, Health Partners will pay the maximum rebate back on your appointment, leaving you with a reduced out of pocket expense. More for Muscles Physiotherapy Network Fees

The More for Muscles provider network allows HCF members to have one initial consult per year with no out of pocket expense*. The cost of any subsequent appointments will depend on your level of cover. To determine the exact gap, contact HCF on 13 13 34. *No out of pocket expense will not apply for clients that see limited registration Physiotherapists.

Our practices accept all other health funds and provide Hicaps facilities to allow you to swipe your card and claim directly from the health fund on the day, meaning that you only have to pay the gap. Due to the large number of health funds and insurance products we are unable to provide exact details regarding your out of pocket expenses. Contact your closest Core Physiotherapy & Pilates Studio practice to obtain a quote on the exact services you require. This will give you all the required information so that you can call your health fund and they can determine your exact out of pocket expense.

You do not need to have a health fund to access Physiotherapy services.

Concession fees may also apply to all services upon presentation of a Government Issued concession card.

At Core Physiotherapy & Pilates Studio we accept all Medicare Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) referrals to a Physiotherapist. Bulk Billing is available with selected Physiotherapists at all our practices (Please note that not all Physiotherapists offer bulk billing, so please contact the practice for details of participating Physios). For Bulk Billed appointments this means there is no out of pocket cost to the client and the claim is typically made direct by the practice to Medicare. If you would like to see a non-participating Physio please contact the practice for details on full fees and claiming.

Please also note that some services, such as hydrotherapy and home visits, may incur additional fees for pool entry and travel time respectively.

Work Injury

All clients who have sustained an injury at work and are under the Return to Work SA system will have seen a GP and have an active Medical Certificate. Once you have this certificate, all Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation costs provided at Core Physiotherapy and Pilates Studio is bulk billed with all accounts being sent directly to Return to Work SA and no out of pocket expense for the patient.

Motor Vehicle Accident

If you have had a motor vehicle accident, you are required to lodge a claim with Allianz CTP (Compulsory Third Party) Insurance. When your claim is approved by Allianz, Core Physiotherapy and Pilates Studio will bulk bill your appointments, with all accounts being sent directly to Allianz and no out of pocket expense for the patient.

If you hold a DVA Gold or White card, your specific medical costs will be fully covered by the Department of Veterans Affairs. In this case there is no out of pocket expense. You will however, be required to provide a GP referral stating that your require physiotherapy, before your first appointment.

Gold Card – ‘DVA health card – For all conditions’

A Gold Card entitles the holder to DVA funding for services for all clinically necessary health care needs, and all health conditions, whether they are related to war service or not.  The card holder may be a veteran or the widow/widower or dependant of a veteran.  Only the person named on the card is covered.

White card – ‘DVA health card – For specific conditions’

A White card entitles the holder to care and treatment for specific injuries only. These injuries will be stated on the card and must also be stated on the GP referral.

Our Physio Group Exercise programs are individually developed for the needs of each client by one of our qualified Physiotherapists. Due to the uniqueness of each program, there is a process for assessment, learning the exercises and progression to the Physio Group Exercise groups. The process is as follows: Initial Consult: T500 1:1 consults (min 4): T505 Physio Group Exercise Groups: T560 Prices for these sessions will depend on whether or not you are covered by a health fund. Many of our sites are preferred providers with the major health funds and therefore the fees are set by the fund, allowing you to get your maximum rebate back and reduce your out of pocket expense.
