Individuals need to be under 65 years of age at the time they apply.

1. Targeted Hands-On Therapy Approaches
Our approach incorporates hands-on methods to help achieve physical goals, such as:
Joint Mobilisation
Deep Soft Tissue Massage
Trigger Point Therapy
Myofascial Release
Dry Needling
Stretching & Neural Mobilisation
Each technique is adapted to individual needs, focusing on enhancing movement, relieving symptoms, and promoting muscle relaxation and flexibility.
2. Hydrotherapy
Hydrotherapy can offer significant benefits for participants who find it challenging to exercise on land. Our hydrotherapy programs in Athelstone use water-based exercises to support a range of goals, including strength, flexibility, mobility, and balance.
Personalised Assessment
A full assessment is completed before starting, evaluating injury background, posture, joint mobility, flexibility, and muscle function. We then collaborate to develop a hydrotherapy plan tailored to individual needs.
Individual Hydrotherapy Treatments
Guided by an NDIS physiotherapist, these sessions focus on helping participants stay on track with their personalised exercise programs through continuous supervision.
Guided Group Hydrotherapy Programs
For those who prefer a group setting, these sessions enable participants to work through their personalised programs while receiving support and exercise modifications from a physiotherapist.
Things to Bring for Your Hydrotherapy Visit
Make sure to bring: Suitable swimwear or water-friendly clothing, A towel and fresh clothes, Thongs or waterproof footwear, and any medications you may need.
3. Gym-Focused Physiotherapy with PhysioEx
Our PhysioEx sessions utilise Pilates and specialised gym equipment to support core stability, alignment, balance, and flexibility. These exercises are beneficial for enhancing movement patterns needed for everyday function.
Personalised PhysioEx Rehabilitation
Each one-on-one session utilises Pilates and gym-based training to craft a personalised exercise plan suited to the participant’s specific goals and fitness level.
Guided Group Sessions with PhysioEx
Ideal for participants who require minimal supervision, these small group sessions are overseen by a physiotherapist, fostering a supportive space for building confidence and independence in their exercises.
