What Is The NDIS ?
At Core Physio & Pilates Studio, our Physios offer a wide range of services to those receiving funding through the NDIS.
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), has been one of the largest changes to the Australian healthcare system over the last 35 years. The NDIS helps to provide approximately 460,000 Australians aged under 65, who have a permanent & significant disability, with funding for support & services.
The aim of this system is to provide the means that those with disability require to achieve their goals & live an ordinary life.
To be eligible for NDIS services you should be:
- Under 65 when you make your application
- An Australian Citizen or resident or permanent visa holder
- Meet the disability or early intervention requirements
How Can Core Physio Help You With Your NDIS Services?

If I'm Eligible for NDIS Funding How Do I Get Started?
If you’re eligible for NDIS funding then you can begin by filling in our enquiry form here, our admin staff will be able to organise any necessary paperwork and contact you regarding booking an appointment.
We’ll begin by booking you in for a one hour initial assessment, after this assessment, your Physio will determine how many treatments that you need and how long that your appts need to be for you to get the maximum benefit of Physiotherapy care. We will discuss the program in collaboration with the client, their careers and their NDIS plan managers.
All that you need to bring with you, is an idea of what health benefits you would like to achieve from your program. With all of the changes over the past year, we understand that you may feel more comfortable in your own home. That’s why we’re offering home visits and telehealth consults, as well as in practice appointments.
