Core Physio & Pilates Studios have over 50 highly skilled Physiotherapists working in our clinics across metropolitan Adelaide. Each clinic has been shaped and grown under the influence of our staff, our clients, referring Doctors and health professionals we serve. Every day we express our values and ethics in the way we work to help people get back on track after injury.
Core Physiotherapy & Pilates Studio opened its first practice in 1993 under the name of Woodcroft Physiotherapy. Using a philosophy of one-on-one patient care, coupled with good client education, the practice grew rapidly. Strong links were developed with members of the local community as well as local doctors and health care providers.
Following this success, our second clinic opened in 1996 at Burnside, heralding the beginning of a new era that has a major focus on Pilates and rehabilitation.
Expansion has followed since to other areas across metro Adelaide starting from Adelaide’s Southern suburbs to the North Eastern region. Our studios rebranded in 2008 to carry our current name ‘Core Physiotherapy & Pilates Studio.’
We continue to be proudly owned and operated by South Australian physiotherapists, with the owners of each practice working at that clinic. This ensures our customers continue to get the highest quality physiotherapy care, visiting safely in the knowledge that our independent ownership offers them a high level of personal service and care.
Each clinic offers an extensive range of services which includes but are not limited to a fully equipped Pilates studio and for your convenience, we stock an extensive range of therapy aids as well as equipment for purchase or hire.
Our therapists combine hands on therapy with a focus on Pilates based strengthening. Coupled with this is our expertise in educating clients on how to better manage their pain through at home exercises between visits to our clinic.
We utilise the McKenzie method of spine assessment, diagnosis and treatment which helps clients not only quickly alleviate their pain but also to gain control of their management in the long run.
Part of the healing process and our care for clients, we focus on listening to them first to find the quickest solutions to alleviate pain.
We provide thorough half hour appointments as a minimum standard and one-on-one attention to fix your problem.
For clients that find it difficult to attend appointments during standard business hours, we offer after hours appointments 5 days a week, plus Saturday appointments and classes. Home Care visits are also an option for people who are unable to visit one of our practice locations.
Our Pilates studios are spacious, fully equipped with plenty of times available to offer convenient daytime, after hours and weekend sessions.
Our team takes an ethical and considered approach to the way we treat our clients, how we operate as a business and our interaction as a member of the community. We recognise each client as an individual, deserving a service that meets their unique aims and needs.
