1. Hands-On Therapy and Manual Techniques
We utilise hands-on techniques to support physical goals, including:
Joint Mobilisation
Deep Soft Tissue Massage
Trigger Point Therapy
Myofascial Release
Dry Needling
Stretching & Neural Mobilisation
These techniques are tailored to individual requirements and aim to improve movement, manage symptoms, and facilitate muscle relaxation and flexibility.
2. NDIS Hydrotherapy
Hydrotherapy can offer significant benefits for participants who find it challenging to exercise on land. Our hydrotherapy programs in Ottoway use water-based exercises to support a range of goals, including strength, flexibility, mobility, and balance.
Personalised Assessment
Before beginning, participants undergo a comprehensive assessment to gather a detailed history of injuries and assess posture, joint mobility, flexibility, and muscle control. Together, we create a tailored hydrotherapy plan aligned with personal objectives.
Personal Hydrotherapy Sessions
Supervised by a NDIS physiotherapist, these sessions provide focused guidance to help participants work on their customised exercise programs with consistent supervision.
Hydrotherapy Sessions in a Group Setting
These sessions are designed for participants who are prepared for group environments, allowing them to complete their tailored exercise programs with physiotherapist supervision and adjustments as required.
Things to Bring for Your Hydrotherapy Visit
Required items: Swimwear or lightweight water-friendly clothing, A towel and extra clothing, Thongs or sandals for walking, and any essential medications.
3. Strength and Rehabilitation with PhysioEx
PhysioEx combines Pilates and gym-based exercises to improve core strength, posture, balance, and flexibility. Designed for various functional needs, these exercises assist participants in refining movements used in daily activities.
Individual PhysioEx Exercise Programs
Each one-on-one session utilises Pilates and gym-based training to craft a personalised exercise plan suited to the participant’s specific goals and fitness level.
Group PhysioEx Classes
Ideal for participants who require minimal supervision, these small group sessions are overseen by a physiotherapist, fostering a supportive space for building confidence and independence in their exercises.
