All-Inclusive NDIS Physiotherapy Support
Through the NDIS, over 460,000 Australians with significant disabilities can access crucial support and services, changing the healthcare landscape. At Core Physiotherapy & Pilates Studio, we are proud to be a registered NDIS provider across Adelaide, assisting participants in reaching their physical, functional, and life goals.
We offer a diverse range of therapy services for eligible participants, ensuring a personalised approach to their specific needs and goals.
NDIS Physiotherapy Eligibility Requirements
To access NDIS services, participants must meet the following criteria:
Be under the age of 65 at the time of applying.
Participants must be either Australian citizens, permanent residents, or valid permanent visa holders.
NDIS applicants must comply with the program’s disability or early intervention requirements.
Our staff provides guidance on the application process and can answer any questions about eligibility.
1. Hands-On Therapy and Manual Techniques
Our approach incorporates hands-on methods to help achieve physical goals, such as:
Joint Mobilisation
Deep Soft Tissue Massage
Trigger Point Therapy
Myofascial Release
Dry Needling
Stretching & Neural Mobilisation
Tailored to individual needs, these techniques work to enhance mobility, manage discomfort, and support muscle relaxation and flexibility.

2. Hydrotherapy Programs
Hydrotherapy is particularly beneficial for those who face challenges with traditional exercise. Our Edwardstown hydrotherapy programs use water-based activities to improve strength, flexibility, mobility, and balance.
Initial Assessment
Each participant undergoes an in-depth assessment before beginning, covering injury history, posture, joint function, flexibility, and muscle control. Based on this, we create a personalised hydrotherapy plan.
Personal Hydrotherapy Sessions
Under the supervision of an NDIS physiotherapist, participants receive dedicated support to follow and refine their customised exercise routines.
Hydrotherapy Classes for Groups
These sessions are designed for participants who are prepared for group environments, allowing them to complete their tailored exercise programs with physiotherapist supervision and adjustments as required.
Things to Bring for Your Hydrotherapy Visit
Make sure to bring: Suitable swimwear or water-friendly clothing, A towel and fresh clothes, Thongs or waterproof footwear, and any medications you may need.
3. Strength and Rehabilitation with PhysioEx
Our PhysioEx sessions utilise Pilates and specialised gym equipment to support core stability, alignment, balance, and flexibility. These exercises are beneficial for enhancing movement patterns needed for everyday function.
Personalised PhysioEx Rehabilitation
Each one-on-one session utilises Pilates and gym-based training to craft a personalised exercise plan suited to the participant’s specific goals and fitness level.
PhysioEx Training in a Group Environment
These sessions are designed for participants who need less direct supervision, allowing them to practice their exercises in a small group setting with continuous physiotherapist oversight and encouragement.
