1. Manual Therapy and Hands-On Physiotherapy
We employ hands-on techniques designed to support physical progress through methods like:
Joint Mobilisation
Deep Soft Tissue Massage
Trigger Point Therapy
Myofascial Release
Dry Needling
Stretching & Neural Mobilisation
Tailored to individual needs, these techniques work to enhance mobility, manage discomfort, and support muscle relaxation and flexibility.
2. Hydrotherapy Programs
Participants who experience difficulty with land-based exercise can benefit greatly from hydrotherapy. Our Hackham hydrotherapy programs incorporate water-based exercises to assist with strength, flexibility, mobility, and balance.
First Consultation
Before beginning, participants undergo a comprehensive assessment to gather a detailed history of injuries and assess posture, joint mobility, flexibility, and muscle control. Together, we create a tailored hydrotherapy plan aligned with personal objectives.
Personal Hydrotherapy Sessions
Each session is overseen by an NDIS physiotherapist, ensuring participants receive targeted support while following their personalised exercise plans.
Group Hydrotherapy Classes
These sessions are designed for participants who are prepared for group environments, allowing them to complete their tailored exercise programs with physiotherapist supervision and adjustments as required.
What to Bring to a Hydrotherapy Session
Make sure to bring: Suitable swimwear or water-friendly clothing, A towel and fresh clothes, Thongs or waterproof footwear, and any medications you may need.
3. Strength and Rehabilitation with PhysioEx
PhysioEx combines Pilates and gym-based exercises to improve core strength, posture, balance, and flexibility. Designed for various functional needs, these exercises assist participants in refining movements used in daily activities.
Individual PhysioEx Exercise Programs
Personalised one-on-one sessions incorporate Pilates and gym equipment to develop a customised exercise plan tailored to the participant’s needs and abilities.
Structured Group PhysioEx Rehabilitation
These sessions are designed for participants who need less direct supervision, allowing them to practice their exercises in a small group setting with continuous physiotherapist oversight and encouragement.
