1. Physiotherapy Techniques Using Hands-On Treatment
We employ hands-on techniques designed to support physical progress through methods like:
Joint Mobilisation
Deep Soft Tissue Massage
Trigger Point Therapy
Myofascial Release
Dry Needling
Stretching & Neural Mobilisation
Tailored to individual needs, these techniques work to enhance mobility, manage discomfort, and support muscle relaxation and flexibility.
2. Hydrotherapy Programs
For those who struggle with land-based exercise, hydrotherapy provides valuable support. Our Unley-based hydrotherapy programs utilise water-based exercises to enhance strength, flexibility, mobility, and balance.
Comprehensive Assessment
Participants start with a thorough assessment, reviewing injury history, posture, joint mobility, flexibility, and muscle control. We then develop a personalised hydrotherapy plan to match individual goals.
Individual Hydrotherapy Treatments
Guided by an NDIS physiotherapist, these sessions focus on helping participants stay on track with their personalised exercise programs through continuous supervision.
Guided Group Hydrotherapy Programs
Participants who are comfortable in a group setting can engage in these sessions while following their customised programs, with a physiotherapist available to provide guidance and modifications.
What to Bring to a Hydrotherapy Session
Required items: Swimwear or lightweight water-friendly clothing, A towel and extra clothing, Thongs or sandals for walking, and any essential medications.
3. PhysioEx Gym-Based Rehabilitation Program
With a focus on core strength, posture, balance, and flexibility, our PhysioEx program integrates Pilates and gym exercises to support a range of functional goals, helping participants develop essential daily movement skills.
Individual PhysioEx Exercise Programs
Using Pilates and gym-based equipment, these individual sessions are designed to create a flexible exercise program that aligns with the participant’s goals and skill level.
Structured Group PhysioEx Rehabilitation
For those comfortable with less supervision, these small group sessions provide ongoing physiotherapist support, ensuring a structured yet encouraging space for developing exercise independence.
