All-Inclusive NDIS Physiotherapy Support
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) has transformed Australia’s health care landscape, enabling over 460,000 Australians with significant and permanent disabilities to access essential support and services. At Core Physiotherapy & Pilates Studio, we are a registered NDIS provider across multiple Adelaide locations, supporting NDIS participants in working towards physical, functional, and life goals tailored to their needs.
Eligible participants can access a broad range of therapy options and services, all customised to support their individual goals.
Who Can Access NDIS Physiotherapy?
To qualify for NDIS support, participants need to meet the following conditions:
Applicants must be younger than 65 when submitting their application.
Participants must hold Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid permanent visa.
Participants must meet the NDIS criteria for disability support or early intervention.
Our team is here to support you through the application process and explain the eligibility requirements.
1. Hands-On Therapy and Manual Techniques
Our hands-on techniques focus on assisting with physical goals through methods such as:
Joint Mobilisation
Deep Soft Tissue Massage
Trigger Point Therapy
Myofascial Release
Dry Needling
Stretching & Neural Mobilisation
These hands-on approaches are designed to meet personal requirements, enhancing movement, alleviating symptoms, and encouraging muscle relaxation and flexibility.

2. Hydrotherapy Programs
For those who struggle with land-based exercise, hydrotherapy provides valuable support. Our Unley-based hydrotherapy programs utilise water-based exercises to enhance strength, flexibility, mobility, and balance.
Initial Evaluation
Each participant undergoes an in-depth assessment before beginning, covering injury history, posture, joint function, flexibility, and muscle control. Based on this, we create a personalised hydrotherapy plan.
Personal Hydrotherapy Sessions
Each session is overseen by an NDIS physiotherapist, ensuring participants receive targeted support while following their personalised exercise plans.
Group Hydrotherapy Sessions
Participants ready for a group environment can benefit from these sessions, where they follow their individual programs under the supervision of a physiotherapist who offers guidance and necessary adjustments.
Essential Items for Your Hydrotherapy Program
Please bring: Swimwear or suitable water-friendly clothing, A towel and spare clothes, Slip-on footwear such as thongs or sandals, and any necessary medications.
3. PhysioEx Gym-Based Rehabilitation Program
The PhysioEx program blends Pilates techniques with gym-based training to enhance core stability, body mechanics, balance, and flexibility. These exercises are designed to assist participants in improving movements required for daily tasks.
Individual PhysioEx Exercise Programs
Each one-on-one session utilises Pilates and gym-based training to craft a personalised exercise plan suited to the participant’s specific goals and fitness level.
PhysioEx Training in a Group Environment
These small group sessions cater to individuals looking for reduced supervision, with a physiotherapist present to offer guidance and create a motivating setting for progressing towards independent exercise.
