Holistic NDIS Physiotherapy Care
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) has transformed Australia’s health care landscape, enabling over 460,000 Australians with significant and permanent disabilities to access essential support and services. At Core Physiotherapy & Pilates Studio, we are a registered NDIS provider across multiple Adelaide locations, supporting NDIS participants in working towards physical, functional, and life goals tailored to their needs.
Eligible participants can access a broad range of therapy options and services, all customised to support their individual goals.
Who Can Access NDIS Physiotherapy?
To be eligible for NDIS services, individuals must fulfil these requirements:
Be under the age of 65 at the time of applying.
Hold Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or an approved visa.
To access services, individuals must meet the NDIS guidelines for disability support or early intervention measures.
We offer assistance with the application process and help ensure you understand the eligibility criteria.
1. Physiotherapy Techniques Using Hands-On Treatment
We utilise hands-on techniques to support physical goals, including:
Joint Mobilisation
Deep Soft Tissue Massage
Trigger Point Therapy
Myofascial Release
Dry Needling
Stretching & Neural Mobilisation
Each technique is adapted to individual needs, focusing on enhancing movement, relieving symptoms, and promoting muscle relaxation and flexibility.

2. Hydrotherapy
Participants who experience difficulty with land-based exercise can benefit greatly from hydrotherapy. Our Magill hydrotherapy programs incorporate water-based exercises to assist with strength, flexibility, mobility, and balance.
Initial Assessment
Each participant undergoes an in-depth assessment before beginning, covering injury history, posture, joint function, flexibility, and muscle control. Based on this, we create a personalised hydrotherapy plan.
Individual Hydrotherapy Treatments
Under the supervision of an NDIS physiotherapist, participants receive dedicated support to follow and refine their customised exercise routines.
Hydrotherapy Sessions in a Group Setting
These sessions are designed for participants who are prepared for group environments, allowing them to complete their tailored exercise programs with physiotherapist supervision and adjustments as required.
Checklist for Hydrotherapy Sessions
Please bring: Swimwear or suitable water-friendly clothing, A towel and spare clothes, Slip-on footwear such as thongs or sandals, and any necessary medications.
3. Comprehensive PhysioEx Rehabilitation
Our PhysioEx sessions utilise Pilates and specialised gym equipment to support core stability, alignment, balance, and flexibility. These exercises are beneficial for enhancing movement patterns needed for everyday function.
Individual PhysioEx Sessions
Using Pilates and gym-based equipment, these individual sessions are designed to create a flexible exercise program that aligns with the participant’s goals and skill level.
Guided Group Sessions with PhysioEx
For those comfortable with less supervision, these small group sessions provide ongoing physiotherapist support, ensuring a structured yet encouraging space for developing exercise independence.
