Background
I was born and raised in Adelaide, but I come from an Iranian background. I became a physiotherapist because I’ve always enjoyed solving problems—whether they’re straightforward or a bit more complex. It’s really rewarding to figure out what’s going on and help people get back to doing what they love.
I’m especially interested in treating musculoskeletal issues, neurological conditions, and headaches. I like taking the time to understand what’s really causing the problem so we can work together on a plan that actually makes a difference.

Background
Hi, I’m Tanishk – a passionate physio originally from the vibrant western region of India, now calling Adelaide home. My physiotherapy journey began the moment I saw someone run onto the cricket field with a medical bag. From that day on, I set my sights on becoming that on-field hero – and here I am, living the dream (just with slightly less cheering crowds and more Pilates mats).
Before making the leap to Australia in 2022, I gained two years of hands-on experience in India. I moved to Adelaide to complete my Master’s in Advanced Clinical Physiotherapy (Sports) from UniSA, diving deep into the world of sports and musculoskeletal rehab. Since then, I’ve been a proud part of the Core Physiotherapy & Pilates Studio team for over 1.5 years, working with a wide range of clients. I have a special interest in treating sports injuries and musculoskeletal conditions, and I take pride in building strong therapist-client relationships. I also enjoy working with MVA and DVA clients – whether it’s helping a veteran get back on track or taking on the complex challenges that come with post-accident recovery, I’m always up for it.
Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find me at the gym, hiking up Adelaide’s beautiful trails on the weekends, or striking up conversations with new people – because good movement and good company go hand-in-hand! If you’re looking for a physio who combines clinical expertise with a friendly, upbeat vibe – let’s get you moving better, together!

Background
I became interested in the profession of physiotherapy when my football (soccer) idol suffered a knee injury in 1998. The prognosis was that he would never play again, but thanks to the surgeon and his physiotherapist, he returned to an elite level of competition. I followed his rehabilitation process through magazines and television, which sparked my interest in the field.
In 2003, I graduated in physiotherapy and worked at a clinic focused on knee injuries until 2007. In that year, I became intrigued by a technique focused on body posture, core, and mobility called Pilates, which is now known worldwide. Since then, I have been passionate about combining Pilates with rehabilitation in some way, as I believe that an injury to one part of the body can affect the whole system.
I am originally from Brazil but have lived in Australia for the past eight years. I now consider Australia my home and am very happy both with where I live and with my work. I feel truly fulfilled!
