Sachin, Physio from the Adelaide CBD practice, has recently completed his Masters of Advanced Clinical Physiotherapy through UniSA, which he began in 2018 at the City East campus. During the course, Sachin made some great friends including Maddie, featured in the photo with Sachin, who works at our Christies Beach Physio practice.
When studying for his Master’s Degree, Sachin learnt skills that included:
- Allied health evidence translation
- Pain theory & science
- Pain assessment & management
- Advanced musculoskeletal examination & management
- Facilitating change in cognition
- Behaviours & lifestyle
Sachin enjoyed all aspects of the course, however manual therapy and clinical reasoning studies were his favourite subjects during his time at UniSA.
He also took part in a placement with the Adelaide Hockey Club, where he helped and supported the athletes within the club.
