PhysioEx is an excellent way to strengthen the body by using Pilates inspired exercises in a prescribed program that is personally tailored to you and your goals.
Individual PhysioEx:
Individual sessions are one on one sessions with a physiotherapist where you get to spend more time discussing your exercises, organising a program and focusing on challenging yourself.
These sessions go through the topics of equipment safety, how to correctly use equipment and personalising a program targeting the muscle areas you are wanting to stretch, rehabilitate, retrain, and strengthen.
Group PhysioEx:
PhysioEx group exercises are 40 minute classes run by a physiotherapist trained in Pilates inspired exercises in a fully equipped exercise studio. Each person in these sessions has their own personalised program which is tailored to them in the required individual sessions prior to joining classes. The PhysioEx programs assist in strengthening, conditioning, and rehabilitating. With the small class sizes of a maximum of 6 people, you will get all the attention needed to assist you.
If you haven’t attended our PhysioEx classes before, you will need to begin with an assessment and 4-6 individual PhysioEx sessions to develop a specialised program for you. Once the program has been written up, you will then move into the group sessions.
If you would prefer to see your physiotherapist in a smaller setting, you can book individual sessions or choose the ‘Semi-Private Session’ option.
Semi-Private PhysioEx:
Our semi-private sessions are designed where 2 people will have the same appointment time running for 40 minutes with the same physiotherapist. During these sessions you will still do your personalised individual program, but it allows you more personal time with your physiotherapist.
