The 2021 Mother's Day Classic
As many of our clients know, Core has been a strong supporter and advocate of the Mother’s Day classic. In years gone past, many of you may have seen us in our Core Physio tent providing massages for the participants of the event after their walk/run.
This year the Mother’s Day Classic is going local, whilst we can’t have one large centralised event, thousands of people across the country will continue to walk or run for this exceptional cause.
On Sunday the 9th of May, you can take part in the Mother’s Day Classic at your local location (listed below) alternatively, you can take part in the Mother’s Day Classic in your own way, you can even include the whole family if they’d like to join you!

So far, nearly $38M has been donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation since the Mothers Day Classic started in 1998, with these funds supporting outstanding research here in Adelaide and all around Australia.

Proceeds Are Donated To The National Breast Cancer Foundation
Once event and administration costs have been deducted, proceeds are donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to fund life-changing research. The MDCF endeavours to keep costs low, so that as much as possible can be donated towards research. Since the Mother’s Day Classic began in 1998, the five-year survival rate for breast cancer has increased from 84% to 91%.
Whilst we’re not able to provide massages to participants after the event as we normally would, we’re still enjoying supporting the event online and in our practices. Helping the National Breast Cancer Foundation to reach its goal of achieving zero deaths by 2030.
