We are pleased to welcome the most recent addition to the Core Physio Aberfoyle Park Team, Pooja!
Pooja is a Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist, qualified from Cardiff University (UK).
In her 10 years of experience, she has worked in a range of different fields of Physiotherapy including paediatric, cardio-pulmonary, musculoskeletal and sports.
She has worked with BCCI (India) for womens’ Class A and various state cricket teams. She has also worked with other sports teams.
Pooja holds an international accreditation in Mulligan mobilization with movements (CMP). She is adept in using various forms of taping techniques, and uses it as adjunct with her manual therapy and exercises approach well. Currently, she is training to become a movement therapist.
Her areas of interest are scapular and shoulder dysfunction, core and pelvic control, hydrotherapy, treating adolescent athletes and sports injury prevention.
Pooja had been involved as a player in cricket, basketball, badminton herself in past. She is an active swimmer and plays Netball once a week. To make a booking with Pooja, you can visit this link.
