Whilst the principles and practices of Physiotherapy and PhysioEx have remained the same, there have been some subtle changes in the practices and treatment rooms due to Covid-19.
Physiotherapy Administration
We now have sign-in sheets and QR codes so that people can check-in when they arrive at each practice.
When clients book online through our website, we have a short questionnaire asking them to contact the practice if any of the below apply to them.
1. They are feeling unwell with any COVID-19 symptoms, such as Fever or Chills, Cough, Sore Throat, Runny Nose, Shortness of Breath, Loss of Taste, and Smell.
2. They have been instructed to self-isolate by a Medical or Government Authority due to a COVID-19 direction.
That pens are sanitised after they have been used by clients.
Treatment Rooms
You may have noticed that there are now no towels in the treatment rooms, the beds are carefully wiped down by the Physios with an antibacterial formula after and before each treatment.
All of our Physios make sure that they wash and sanitise their hands at the end of each treatment.
The Practice
We continue this sanitising process throughout the entire practice door handles counters etc…
When clients are taking part in PhysioEx, the Pilates equipment in the Pilates Studio is wiped down after they complete their series of exercises on each piece of equipment.
To ensure your safety and comfort when visiting our practices, these changes will remain in place on an ongoing basis when you visit our practice for a Physio treatment or a PhysioEx class.
