At Core Physiotherapy and Pilates Studio, providing exceptional service to our clients and the surrounding community is our number one priority. To help us improve our services we ask our clients regularly how we are meeting their expectations and how we can improve. To do this we utilise a standardised process of surveying our clients called “Net Promoter Score”. This method has been used by businesses large and small around the world for decades, and is a sure-fire way of getting both specific and broad information to help guide changes that improve service.
How Does It Work?
After every new client visits one of our Physios for their initial treatment or for a new problem appointment, we send them a survey, asking them a simple single question as well as giving them the opportunity to make a comment. We ask “how likely is it that you would recommend this company to a friend or colleague?”
The information we get from them provides two parts of information. Firstly it tells us how well their customer experience has met their expectations. Secondly, the comments give us a more specific insight into why customers are satisfied or not.
How Do We Use This Information?
Firstly, we review every single comment and score sent to us by our clients. We use the score as a broad measure of how satisfied our clients are. We also look for specific instances when a client’s expectations weren’t met and analyse why this occurred and how we could do better next time. We discuss with our staff where their service could improve and also look at making changes to how the practice operates to meet the ever-changing needs of our clients.
We also share great reviews and stories with our staff, so that when someone leaves an amazing score and comment, we let staff know that their great work has really been appreciated by their clients.

Net Promoter Score
The survey provides us with what is known as a Net Promoter Score, this is an indicator ranging from 1 -10, that measures the enthusiasm of customers to recommend a company’s products or services to other people.
Core Physio and Pilates Studio have been in operation since 1993, our Net Promoter score is very much a perfect score having been consistently 9.5 over the past 2 years. This is something that we’re extremely proud of and work hard to maintain across all of our practices.
