We’re celebrating the true meaning of Christmas this year by giving back to the community and holding a Foodbank Christmas Drive in our practices.
5 million Australians have experienced food insecurity in the last 12 months, and at least once a week, 3 in 10 Australians go without eating for a whole day. Foodbank provides relief to 815,000 Australians each month.
Foodbank is Australia’s largest food relief organisation, operating on a scale that makes it crucial to the work of the front line charities, who are feeding vulnerable Australians.
Foodbank provides more than 70% of food for relief organisations nation-wide.

However, despite all of the relief that they provide to Australians, 25% more food is required in Australia to meet the current demand.
Many people suffer in silence, they may be your neighbours, colleagues or friends & you wouldn’t know.
Foodbank are relying on us to do something about it, that’s why we’re holding a food drive in our practices.
We’ve set up Foodbank collection points in each practice, non perishable items are needed with the most wanted items being:
- Canned veggies & fruit
- Spreads
- Pasta and pasta sauce
- Rice
- Cereal
- Baked Beans
- Spaghetti
- Long Life Milk
- Coffee & Tea

You may already have some of these items in your pantry, it would be fantastic if you’re able to donate something to our Foodbank drive.
Together we can help to fight food insecurity and hunger in Australia.
